Brief: Jordanian Europe Business Association (JEBA) organized a Jordanian economic delegation to Zagreb - Croatia in cooperation with the honorary consulate of the Republic of Croatia in Amman and the Croatian Chamber of Economy to enhance the economic relations between the two countries.

The delegation, headed by JEBA President Eng. Jamal Badran, included Jordanian businessmen representing the following sectors: construction and real estate development, renewable energy, electrical appliances, monitoring equipment, plastics, clothing, textiles, Dead Sea products, cosmetics, foodstuff, medical equipment and tourism.
Badran stressed during his speech at Jordanian-Croatian Business Forum that the delegation's visit is an opportunity for business employers from both countries to work together as partners to consolidate joint cooperation and benefit from the promising opportunities available to both parties, in addition to promoting goods and services available in the Kingdom and studying export opportunities in both directions.
recognizing the Kingdom’s endeavor to build solid relations with various countries to enhance economic and investment relations, and its strategic location which makes it as a center for trade and services in the region. Badran called the representatives of the Croatian Chamber of Economy to form a delegation to visit the Kingdom in order to take a look at the business opportunities as it’s attractive environment for foreign business and investments.
The Honorary Consul of the Republic of Croatia in Amman, Dr. Abdelnour Habaybeh, noted that Jordan and Croatia have strong historical relations, stressing the need to be reflected in further development in many aspects of trade, investment and tourism between the two countries.
He stressed the need to continue communication and coordination in various economic and investment fields in order to find more opportunities for cooperation in the leading sectors and discuss investment opportunities in various fields.
During the visit, a memorandum of understanding was signed between JEBA and the Croatian Chamber of Economy to develop economic and trade relations between the two countries, enhance mechanisms and means of cooperation and coordination through encouraging the establishment of joint projects in addition to facilitate participation in, events, exhibitions, conferences and exchange of delegations.
They also reviewed the business climate, investment opportunities and facilities offered by the Kingdom to foreign investors, in addition to the tourism reality and competitive advantages available in this promising sector.
During the visit, the members of the delegation met the advisor of the President of the Republic of Croatia for Economic Affairs, Assistant Minister of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Trade of Croatia and Assistant Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia.
During the meetings, the both sides stressed the importance of developing Jordanian-Croatian economic relations in a way that serves both parties and increases trade volume.
