Meeting of Transportation Sector Committee

JEBA held the Meeting of Transportation Sector Committee headed by Eng. Fawwaz Kattan / JEBA Board Member & the Chairman of Sectoral Committee with attendance of a number of transportation representatives from JEBA members.

Many axes were reviewed during the meetings such as: preparing an open meeting for transportation sector in order to work on the ideas and obstacles facing the sector, forming  committee in order to follow up with JEBA  members  representing the sector to prepare a worksheet  to be presented to the Minister of Transportation, the possibility of taking advantage of the support programs which extended by some European embassies to make Aqaba port as the adopted shipping center for the region, studying the possibility of the transportation sector to benefit from Netherlands Senior experts program /PUM in developing their business and upgrading the services provided by the sector.
