A Jordanian economic delegation presided by Murad concludes a working visit to Greece

A Jordanian economic delegation concluded a working visit to Greece, organized by the Jordan-European Business Association (JEBA), in cooperation with the Greek-Arab Chamber of Commerce and Development and the Athens Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

The delegation, headed by Ali Murad, Chairman of the Board of Directors of JEBA, held talks in the Greek capital, Athens, with Greek businessmen to enhance economic and trade exchange between the two countries and invest in the available opportunities, in addition to enhancing cooperation in the tourism field and opportunities for Jordanian products to enter the Greek markets.

The Jordanian delegation included businessmen representing the sectors of tourism, travel, real estate, energy, food, agriculture, security, protection, water treatment, and sanitation.

During the visit, the delegation held a meeting with the President of the Athens Chamber of Industry and Commerce, during which they discussed economic and trade opportunities and ways to enhance them between the two countries. The meeting included a presentation on investment opportunities in Jordan.

During the meeting, which was attended by the Jordanian ambassador in Athens, members of the delegation stressed the importance of developing and raising the level of cooperation and coordination to advance and advance bilateral economic relations.

The delegation also participated during the visit in the work of the eleventh Arab-Greek Economic Forum, which was held recently in the capital, Athens, and witnessed the holding of bilateral meetings between Jordanian businessmen and their counterparts participating in the forum.

Cooperation agreements were signed between the Athens Chamber of Industry and Commerce and JEBA and between the Greek Federation of Companies and “JEBA” with the aim of developing economic and trade relations between Greece and Jordan and strengthening mechanisms and means of cooperation and joint coordination by encouraging the establishment of joint projects between the two countries, in addition to facilitating Participation of association members in activities, events, exhibitions, conferences and exchanging delegations.

It is noteworthy that the Kingdom's exports to Greece amounted to 11 million dinars in the first seven months of this year, compared to imports amounting to 25 million dinars for the same period this year, according to the latest foreign trade figures issued by the Department of Statistics.
