The Jordanian European Business Association (JEBA) organized a specialized seminar on enhancing energy and water efficiency in various tourism sector establishments, in collaboration with the Amman Chamber of Commerce. This seminar is part of JEBA’s ongoing efforts to support the transition to a sustainable green economy in Jordan.
The seminar was attended by JEBA Board of Directors representatives, including Vice President Eng. Jamal Badran and Secretary-General Eng. Fawaz Al-Qattan, along with Mr. Bahjat Hamdan, Vice President of the Amman Chamber of Commerce. Also present were JEBA’s General Director Eng. Hossam Saleh, PUM Program Representative Eng. Ghidaa Makahleh, and a group of representatives from various sectors.
During the seminar, the latest global technologies and solutions for enhancing sustainability in tourism establishments were presented, aiming to reduce operational costs and protect the environment.
Key points covered included: JEBA’s role in supporting the transition to a green economy in Jordan, the importance of the Dutch Experts Program (PUM) in transferring expertise and knowledge, global success stories in energy and water efficiency, and opportunities for collaboration between the public and private sectors to enhance sustainability.
