Shukran Jordan for 70 years of friendship and cooperation! 
Our relationship with Jordan is strategic because we share interests, we share values and we share potential. At a ceremony held on the occasion of 70 years of diplomatic relations between Germany and Jordan and the Day of German Unity, Ambassador von Moltke said: “70 years of diplomatic relations have shown that Germany and Jordan can rely on each other in times of need.”
We were particularly honoured to have H.R.H. Prince El Hassan Bin Talal attend the ceremony as the guest of honour. In his speech, which he held partially in German, he said: “Over the last 70 years, remarkable joint efforts have been made in the fields of science and diplomacy, energy, technology, education, and people-to-people exchanges; all steps towards reinforcing sustainable, inclusive development.”
