Jordan Europe Business Association (JEBA) hosted a business breakfast on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at the Landmark Hotel. The event was attended by His Excellency the British Ambassador to Jordan, Mr. Philip Hall, and a number of dignitaries from the Jordanian and British private sectors.
The breakfast aimed to strengthen trade and investment relations between Jordan and the United Kingdom, and to explore opportunities for joint cooperation in various fields, especially in light of the positive economic developments witnessed by Jordan.
Mr. Muhammad Al-Qaryouti, a member of the Board of Directors of the Jordan Business Association "JEBA", delivered a welcoming speech in which he stressed the importance of Jordanian-British relations, referring to the distinguished position of the United Kingdom as a trade and investment partner for Jordan.
Mr. Ali Murad, the chairman of the association, indicated that "JEBA" is striving to strengthen these relations by organizing events and meetings that bring together Jordanian and British businessmen, and by facilitating the exchange of information and expertise between them.
His Excellency the British Ambassador, Mr. Philip Hall, appreciated the efforts of "JEBA" and the United Kingdom's commitment to strengthening its relations with Jordan in all fields, especially in the economic field.
Ambassador Hall indicated that the United Kingdom considers Jordan to be an important strategic partner in the region, and that it supports the economic developments witnessed by Jordan and encourages British investments in the Kingdom.
The floor was then opened to the attendees to discuss various issues related to Jordanian-British relations, and opportunities for joint cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, tourism, and others.
