Discussing cooperation between JEBA and Netherlands Senior Experts Program / PUM
JEBA Board of Directors discussed with the regional director of PUM program in Jordan and Palestine Wim Halteren, the possibility of enhancing cooperation between the two parties and benefit from the program to include all economic sectors.
Eng. Jamal Badran / JEBA President said that JEBA seeks to expand cooperation with the program in economic and service sectors, especially in tourism, services and information technology.
Badran explained that the next phase will witness the focus on the rehabilitation and development of business incubators in order to help young entrepreneurs to have successful entrepreneurial projects.
Badran said that the success of business incubators in the rehabilitation and guidance of entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial ideas, is considered as an important step in the revitalization of the national economy and find solutions to alleviate unemployment through providing employment opportunities for Jordanians.
He stressed the importance of the program in providing technical assistance to the problems and challenges faced by companies through attracting a qualified expert to the applying company.
Mr. Halteren explained that the program aims to provide technical assistance, consultancy expertise and studies in various fields economic, industrial, agricultural, commercial, tourism, educational, hotel and environmental projects in all its forms and other fields by assigning experts from a total of 1700 Dutch experts in various disciplines to provide aid to Jordanian institutions As needed.
