JEBA Organized a Cocktail Reception in the presence of a Distinguished Sweden Business Delegation

The Jordanian European Business Association, in cooperation with the Swedish Embassy in Jordan, organized a cocktail reception in the presence of a Swedish business delegation that included a number of business owners and representatives of a number of Swedish companies specialized in the fields of energy, health care, chemicals, and engineering, in addition to representatives of a number of Jordanian private sector companies, including companies Which have joint commercial operations with Sweden, in order to see opportunities for establishing trade and investment partnerships between the Jordanian and Swedish sides.

Mr. Ali Murad, head of the association, stressed the strong economic relations between Jordan and Sweden, noting that they resulted from a number of Swedish investments in Jordan, including industry, petrochemicals, medicine, information and communication technology, and logistics services.

He confirmed that the Swedish-Jordanian business network is an essential step in the development of trade and investment exchange. He expressed his keenness with the association to strengthen relations and coordination between the two countries on various issues of common interest.

Murad indicated the development witnessed by the two countries' relations over the past years within the framework of the European Union, and the depth of coordination on economic issues with the aim of consolidating strong bilateral relations.

In his turn, the Swedish Trade Commissioner, Mr. Marcus Peterson, thanked JEBA for its efforts in strengthening relations between Sweden and Jordan, thus playing a pivotal role in the strength of the partnership between the two friendly countries.
